Our client is a leading provider of brand-building glass packaging for many of the world's best-known food and beverage brands.

Providing high quality glass packaging for beer, wine, spirits, food, non-alcoholic beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

Position Details
We are a market leader in glass container manufacturing.

We operate continuous production environment meaning the successful candidate will need to be adaptable, work under pressure and safety conscious.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
Follow maintenance schedules to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement process improvements.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

Time served Apprenticeship or equivalent.
Proven experience in maintenance within a production environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
Experience with logic controllers is a plus.
Ability to weld is a plus.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
