Introduction

Main Purpose of the Role
As part of the Charitable Programmes team, this role will be responsible for managing and delivering key programme events throughout the year and supporting logistics across all programmes.
- the delivery of key charitable programme events including, but not limited to, residentials, competitions, inclusion awareness events, training, conferences etc.
- Ensuring delivery partners have adequate and appropriate resources for programme delivery throughout the year.
- Supporting sports kit recycling with logistics around collection through to delivery.
Key tasks:
- Overseeing and communicating the logistics, planning and implementation of the:
- Table cricket regional heats and national final
- Wicketz residentials
- Super 1s residentials
- Development officer conference(s)
- Inclusion and awareness activities across programmes
- Training events
- Working alongside the national events team to deliver the annual Super 1s awareness and celebration evening
- Undertaking where necessary venue research and risk assessments to ensure suitability and compliance
- Working with the Impact & Insight team to ensure that relevant safeguarding and consent paperwork is in place for all participants attending events
- Provide support to the Programme Managers to create, contact and steward relationships with volunteers and partner organisations
- Ensure all delivery partners are adequately resourced with appropriate support materials which could include coaching kit, tshirts, equipment, flyers, prizes, banners etc.
- Providing support to the sports kit recycling team to streamline and coordinate the collection and delivery of goods
Person Specification
Essential:
- Firm set of core values reflective of the Charity and commitment to the Charity's purposes
- Experience of creating and delivering complex beneficiary event calendars
- Excellent administrative, time management and planning skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including confident telephone manner
- Excellent computer and keyboard skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft 36
- Ability to both work as part of a team and on own initiative with a proactive, enthusiastic 'cando' attitude
- Please note that this role requires flexibility to work occasional unsociable hours, travel within the UK including overnight stays
Desired:
- Experience organising sporting events and competitions
- Understanding of social barriers to participation in sport, inclusion, equality, and diversity
- Knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite to create marketing collateral
