Teaching Assistant

Salary / Rate:
£325 - £400 per week

Sunderland SR5


Milk Educationare working in partnership with a local Ofsted rated
"Good" Primary Schoolin the
Sunderlandarea who are seeking a
Hardworkingand
Dedicated Teaching Assistantto work within a
KS1 classroom on a long-term basis.
The role is
Full-Time and the working hours will be
08:30am-15:30pm Monday to Friday, School Hours and No Weekends.


The role will involve
providing Classroom Support to individual children and small groups who require support with their education delivered at a differentiated level to meet their needs.

and As a Teaching Assistant you will be ensuringthat the work, they are set is being completed to a good standard.

This will require understanding the needs and feelings of the children to enable them to work independently and in group activities.

You will also be required to provide adaptive learning experiencesto meet children's individual needs and support them to thrive within the classroom environment.


Teaching Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Classroom Experience and Knowledge
  • Be kind, caring and empathetic
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Be a committed educator in raising the attainment, aspiration, and selfesteem of all pupils
  • Promote outstanding classroom practice and ensure children are at the heart of learning and teaching.

Requirements:


  • Enhanced Children's Workforce DBS on the Update Service
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
