    Job Title: Senior Associate - Forfaiting and Receivables
    Location: London, U.K.

    Overview:

    Provide a complete service to the Banks Customer's to a high level of administration and service. Ensure that transactions allocated are properly implemented, independently controlled, and diligently monitored. Work together with your team, clients, CTS, relationship managers/ marketing/account officers, and other departments of the Bank where necessary. Familiarize oneself with different products and methods in accordance with policies and procedures. To provide a professional and timely response to enquiries received from internal and external customers of the department.

    What You Will Be Doing:

    1. Core Forfaiting and Receivable duties
    2. General daily administration duties, including purchase of different Trade Finance Products for example Promissory Notes, Bills of Exchange and Receivables under Forfaiting structures, checking of documentation, rate fixing, discounting, fees, roll overs, payments, cancellation, collection of funds, in accordance with agreed and documented processes and guided by experienced team members.
    3. Review facility documentation for understanding and operational feasibility, in conjunction with the internal and external stakeholders (as appropriate), and guided by experienced team members covering:
    4. Purchase and Sale contracts (various)
    5. Receivable Financing Facilities Committed/Uncommitted, Disclosed/Undisclosed
    6. Master Risk Participation Agreements
    7. Participation Agreements
    8. Framework Agreements
    9. Discounting Agreements

    Candidate Specification:

    Basic knowledge of word and excel skills. Previous work experience in a Trade Finance function essential (minimum two years) is highly desirable. The ability to remain calm whilst under pressure from the business and clients. Accurate and methodical. Good communication and organizational skills. The ability to work independently or as part of a team. Foreign language skills are an advantage and highly desirable, not essential.
