    Our Client is working with a vibrant and funprimary school based in Cambridge seeking a proactive andemotionally intelligent Reception teacher.

    Thechildren are hardworking caring inquisitive and imaginative and thestaff here aspire to develop wellrounded confident pupils through asupportive pastoral environment as a result we are seeking aprimary teacher who knows how to drive attainment and createengaging lessons.

    Responsibilities of aReception teacher:

    • Asa Reception teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral careof children taking their final steps in early years promotingteamwork and cultivating a conducive learningenvironment.
    • Teaching the EYFS curriculum togroups of children while also focusing on each individual childslearning targets encouraging their strengths and improving theirweaknesses
    • Further developing maths abilityand introducing fractions statistics and geometry
    • Help children develop their writing ability by creatingplots characters and settings for stories.
    • Keeping track of childrens progress and occasionallyreporting back toparents
