- Leading UK and International commercial bids and proposals through to completion of suitable Contract
- Actively participate in Business Winning, including contributing to the development of commercial proposals for potential business and the commercial review of the full suite of proposal documents
- Lead the Request for Bid Approval (RBA) and Contract Award (CA) process
- Lead the negotiation of commercial issues and ensuring acceptable business agreements and contracts
- Managing bids, contracts, and programmes, ensuring all risks and opportunities are managed and obligations are appropriately discharged
- Managing commercial and contractual issues/disputes/claims, ensuring alignment of stakeholders and leadership of negotiations to resolution
- Lead Commercial Customer relationships
- Experience in new business and contract negotiation
- Experience with drafting and managing large and complex contracts
- Experienced in writing complex reports and commercial offers
- Good understanding of Intellectual Property and Export Control
- Experience in managing small teams
- Good understanding of interactions with related functions (Engineering, Finance etc)
- Awareness of defence and aerospace sector desirable
