    Wood is currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced 2D/3D draughtspeople and designers to join our Data Management Consultancy as part of our Digital Consulting business based in Hull.

    Due to growth we are also open to applications across the UK to be based at any of our main offices in particular – Aberdeen, Glasgow, Stockton, Reading or Staines.

    Our Data Management Consultancy team are the leading provider of asset performance optimisation to the energy and industrial sectors, with unrivalled expertise across the asset life cycle.

    Wood is leading the way in Sustainability, Energy Transition and Decarbonisation solutions. The Data Management team focus on the development, management, and delivery of operational solutions.

    Due to significant growth plans for our consulting business, we are seeking to enhance our Data Management team with experienced Draughtspeople and designers who are driven by solving complex technical challenges for our clients, that are fundamental in ensuring Energy Security and supporting with the Energy transition.

    Our team are industry leading experts across:

  • Oil and Gas – key to energy security
  • Petrochemicals/ Chemical manufacturing
  • Power Generation including Nuclear
  • We are seeking to speak with individuals that have specialist 2D and or 3D draughting and design experience, particularly in relation to digital twins and 3D visualisation, across the sectors above providing solutions throughout an operational assets lifecycle.

    Whichever role you come into you will interface with a multi-disciplinary team of highly capable experts, Draughtspeople, Consultants and Engineers to deliver best in class solutions that will ensure high customer satisfaction.     Expected:

  • HNC or appropriate level of experience
  • Suitable CAD qualification or appropriate experience
  • Experience and a drive for continual learning / understanding of the latest design tools, technologies and processes
  • Experience within a Drawing Office environment
  • 3D CAD systems experience would be advantageous
  • A good level of general computer skills (good electronic housekeeping)
  • Demonstrable understanding of industry best practices and work to established standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work with multiple stakeholders in a professional manner
