Job Description of a Production Planner

Responsible for issuing timely and accurate production plans/ schedules for the Manufacturing Operation.
Provide a key interface between the Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams.
Help ensure successful delivery of new product introduction and contribute to the development and implementation of supply chain projects.
Develop the companies MRP system.
Put in new processes and procedures.

Skills & experience of a Production Planner

Strong MRP systems experience
A background in Manufacturing within a similar role
Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail
Initiative for effective decision making
