Bury Hospice has a fantastic opportunity for a Fundraising Assistant to join our passionate Fundraising / Income Generation team for a fixed term of 13 months, covering a period of maternity leave.

As a Fundraising Assistant, you will help with the development and delivery of fundraising activities to generate revenue for the Hospice and its services.

The admin aspects of the role will include; managing appropriate databases, recording and reporting on income received in line with targets and other creative administration in line with event portfolio developments, providing efficient admin support and event delivery.

Engagement with new, existing and third-party supporters / stakeholders of the Hospice are also key duties of the role.


This will include fulfilling fundraising product requests, delivery of fundraising events, securing and engage with all associates and supporters of the Hospice and work with and support wider Fundraising and Income Generation teams to maintain full and up-to-date working knowledge of all activity.

You will be a relationship developer, a positive influencer, an engaging communicator and a keen driver of the Hospices marketing campaigns and strategies to increase income generation.

Previous experience within an administrative and fundraising environment are essential along with excellent organisation and communication skills.

As an ambassador for Bury Hospice flexibility will be required to attend Hospice events and presentations, sometimes out of usual working hours.
