Based in our London head office, the Energy and Sustainability department is looking to recruit a (Senior) Sustainability Consultant. The Knight Frank Energy and Sustainability team is an award winning, industry leading, specialist consultancy team.
Supported by the wider Department, you will be responsible for delivering instructed consultancy assignments whilst maintaining a high professional profile and a relationship with our clients built on trust and integrity.
Responsibilities
General
- To work as part of the Energy and Sustainability team to deliver instructed consultancy assignments in the areas of: ESG & Sustainability Consulting, Net Zero Strategy & Technology/Innovation, Green Building Certification, Social Value, Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy, Reporting & Disclosure, ESG Related Compliance.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients on sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Leading delivery of highquality reports and publications as final deliverables, including quality assurance of others' work.
- To liaise with other departments when required.
- To communicate fully with all concerned to ensure that business is managed in an efficient and professional manner.
- To assist the Head of ESG Consulting UK (and others) in business development in order to secure new consultancy work.
- To understand the business and have a sound business knowledge together with a keen awareness of the competition.
- To research accurately and present this information in writing to a highly professional standard with respect to preparation of client proposals,
- To build and maintain goodwill, confidentiality and trust with prospective and existing clients at all times in order to foster the professional image of the Partnership.
- To perform other tasks delegated by the Partner in charge as required.
Professional experience and personal skills profile
- Qualifications/
Education Required:
_
- A relevant professional qualification to Masters level and / or chartered membership (RICS/ICE/IEMA/CENG/CENV/MEI)._
- Career Experience Required:_
- At least 3 years' experience of working within Property/Construction sectors
- Have a working knowledge of carbon reporting, building services, HVAC equipment and lowcarbon technologies
- Particular Aptitudes/
Skills Required:

- _In-depth knowledge of relevant policy, legislation and industry practice in the areas of ESG, Sustainability, carbon reduction, energy efficiency in buildings, low and zero carbon property development and clean technology and innovation as it relates to the built environment._
- _The knowledge, enthusiasm and expertise to persuade potential clients to choose Knight Frank on consultancy instructions._
- _The creativity to produce clear, concise and accurate reports and other written communications._
- _The commitment and determination to act effectively and professionally on behalf of the client_
