- Title: Camp Manager
- Reporting to: Head of Operations
- Contract: Seasonal role during school holidays.
- Hours: 8.00am – 6.00pm weekdays. Flexible full or part season positions available.
- Supervise and support your team to ensure the quality of care and activities align with Ultimate Activity Camps standards.
- Inspire your team through energetic leadership and adherence to established policies.
- Enforce all camp policies including health and safety guidelines, and introduce new procedures where necessary to enhance safety.
- Conduct staff induction sessions before camp commences.
- Collaborate with the Early Years Leader to meet Ofsted standards, coordinating with inspectors during inspections.
- Communicate regularly with Head Office for updates and issue resolution.
- Serve as the primary contact for parents and the Host School, addressing concerns promptly.
- Manage administrative tasks such as registration, staff scheduling, and program adjustments.
- Coordinate with specialized program teams to ensure smooth camp operations.
- Tackle any challenges inherent in a dynamic camp environment.
- Prioritize child welfare and provide high-quality childcare tailored to individual needs.
- Exemplify the 'Inspiring Children Every Day' philosophy and uphold company standards.
- Demonstrate professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm as a role model for campers and staff.
- Qualified or working towards a childcare, teaching, or coaching qualification with substantial experience in child care.
- A natural leader with previous managerial experience in childcare, teaching, or coaching.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service, adept at engaging with parents and school personnel.
- Proficient in camp activities with the ability to provide temporary coverage until suitable replacements are arranged.
- Quick decision-making abilities and proactive approach to varying situations.
- Flexible and responsible, adapting effectively to changing circumstances.

- Hold a Pediatric First Aid certification (12-hour or 6-hour).
