    Job Details:
    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Worker to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, with experience working with children and young adults with a variety of SEN.


    The primary responsibilities of the role include:

    • Meeting with students 1:1 to deliver tailored Maths and English lessons, taking into account their individual learning needs and abilities.
    • Providing mentoring and support to help students build confidence, overcome challenges, and break down barriers to learning.
    • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement personalised learning plans for each student.
    • Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure academic and socialemotional growth.
    • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and any additional support provided.

    Requirements:

    • QTS (QTLS), PGCE or Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field. (Preferred but not essential)
    • Previous experience working with children and young adults with SEN, including knowledge of various learning disabilities, developmental delays, and behavioural challenges. (Needed)
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
    • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional needs of children with SEN.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the diverse needs of our students.
