The Theatres department are looking to recruit a Non Staff Portfolio Theatre Administrator to support this busy Department.


The role will be to assist Theatres in the collection and validation of Theatre Data using PAS and supporting the theatre management team.

Experience and knowledge of the PAS system is essential.


The post of non-staff portfolio theatre administrator within Theatre Services is recognised as an essential part of the operational support for the division.

Required skills are IT skills; effective communication and the ability to work accurately under pressure are required.


The successful applicant will be required to work in Theatres and would be desirable if familiar with Trust processes, training will be given.

Ensure that Theatre Services maximises the Trust's income by supporting accurate, timely and comprehensive recording of data.

Improve data quality for Theatre Services on key hospital systems.

Monitor, record and control the repairs of theatre equipment.

Complete weekly data reports and others as and when requested.

Provide key administrative support for Theatres.

Cross cover with the Theatre Administrator.

Provide administration support for PAS in Theatre only

Work with theatre teams to update and amend data contained within PAS

Ensure data going into systems is accurate and as up to date as possible

Improve data quality within the current Patient Administration System, to enable a clean data extraction

Assist in maximising Trust income by supporting accurate, timely and comprehensive recording of data

Improve the quality of data used in reporting across the Trust

Validation and exception reporting of data

Produce Data Quality reports on regular basis from PAS

Provide PAS training and support to new or less experienced staff members

Ensure maintenance of standards in line with current processes and procedures

Provide administration support for Theatres

Cross cover with the Staff Portfolio Theatre Administrator

Work with sterile services to monitor, record and control repairs of Theatre equipment.
