An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 3 Assistant to join our North Integrated Community Occupational Therapy Team.
You will cover Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme and the Staffordshire Moorlands area.You willwork within a well-established OT team, implementing treatment plans and working alongside Occupational Therapists to deliver a high standard of care within a patient's home environment, promoting the improvement of health and wellbeing of the population served.
We are looking for a band 3 Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team within the Community Occupational Therapy team based in North Staffordshire.
You will work under the supervision of qualified Occupational Therapists to help implement and deliver treatment plans for adults with a variety of physical health needs within their home environment.
The post provides opportunities to gain specialist skills in rehabilitation, assistive equipment, and supporting the qualified OT Team with manual handling and implementing bespoke treatment plans.
You will also be responsible for carrying out certain administrative and non-clinical duties as required.We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with:

- Previous work experience in therapy is not essential, however, a knowledge of the role of occupational therapy is desirable

Be a therapy assistant and have an understanding of the knowledge and skills required for the post.
Work with registered staff to provide a service for a defined population of service users in a variety of settings across the Partnership Trust.
Be skilled in undertaking delegated tasks in the implementation of rehabilitation packages and provide feedback working under the direction of a registered practitioner.
Competent with IT and the ability to use clinical systems.
