- Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
- Chartered Civil Engineer or equivalent.
- Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Sound knowledge in design such as flood walls and embankments, weirs, hydraulic structures, culverts, scour protection, access and accessibility and construction logistics.
- Familiarity with current UK design standards, guidance and working practices.
- Proficiency in delivering both traditional engineering and environmentally focussed solutions using nature-based strategies.

We specialise in all aspects of river engineering, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy and Cities & Development. We continue to provide industry-leading river engineering and flood defence solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases.
