Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Support Engineer with a focus on cybersecurity and cloud technologies to join our team.
Based full time in our office in Huddersfield.As a Senior Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical supportand troubleshooting for our clients, as well as working with our team to implement new solutions and technologies.
With a focus on cybersecurity, you will also be responsible for maintaining and improving our client's security posture, identifying and addressingpotential security threats and vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
In addition, you will be responsible for providing support and troubleshooting for our clients' Office 365 and Azure environments.Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients, both remotely and onsite as needed, with a focus on cybersecurity and cloud technologies (Office 365 and Azure).
- Work with clients to understand their security and cloud needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
- Act as a liaison between clients and our team to ensure the timely resolution of issues.
- Participate in the implementation of new solutions and technologies, with an emphasis on cybersecurity and cloud technologies.
- Train and mentor junior support engineers.
- Stay uptodate with new technologies and industry developments, with a focus on cybersecurity and cloud trends and best practices.
- Manage and maintain technical documentation, including procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Identify and address potential security threats and vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for Office 365 and Azure environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Azure AD.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in technical support or a related field, with a focus on cybersecurity and cloud technologies (Office 365 and Azure).
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and troubleshooting.
- Experience with virtualisation technologies such as Hyper-V.
- Experience with Windows operating systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Certified in one or more cybersecurityrelated fields, such as CompTIA Security+ is a plus.
- Knowledge of Office 365 and Azure is a must.
