If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our highly established customer-focused Pensions Administration Team.Our Pensions & Investments Team administers the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) for over 85,000 scheme members.
As an LGPS Technical Officer, you will work closely with the Pensions Administration Manager and other Senior Officers to ensure the Fund is technically compliant with scheme regulations and produce clear and accurate communications to stakeholders.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Pensions Administration Manager.You will be responsible for interpretation of new pension legislation and associated legislation, and ensuring accurate information is provided to scheme members, employers and fund officers.
You will maintain a communications plan and policy statement and be responsible for writing and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences.
To interpret & implement new pensions legislation for the Local Government Pension Scheme and provide guidance to Scheme members & employers.
To work with the Assistant Pensions Administration Manager to lead change in response to legislative changes.To develop and maintain both a communications policy statement and plan.
To be responsible for planning, writing and making presentations & facilitating training courses on pension matters to internal and external audiences.
To assist with communications aspects of ad hoc projectsAs an 'any-desk' worker, you'll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required.
You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements*.
