    Description
    Our client are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding team in Bury St Edmunds.

    As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
    Designing control panels and switchgear to meet customers' specific requirements, ensuring compliance with legislative and safety standards.

    Producing high-quality manufacturing data, including schematic and layout drawings using AutoCAD.Specifying and selecting electrical components for UK, EU, and International applications.

    Participating in design and quality reviews for new and existing products.
    Collaborating with the applications and sales, production, and quality teams, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
    Contributing to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues and recommending options and courses of action.

    To be considered for this Senior Electrical Design Engineer role, you will need the following:

    Experience in a leading/mentoring positionExperience in Electrical DesignSolidEdge experience (Preferred by not essential)AutoCAD Electrical proficientExperience in interpreting different technical schematics and report formats, including electrical and mechanical.
