The Company:

We are supporting a successful manufacturing business with their search for a Senior Production Planner to work within their fast paced planning team

The Role:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role plays an integral part in managing an efficient process flow withing the manufacturing site.

Managing relationships with key internal stakeholders across Operations, Procurement and Customer service, this is a great role for someone who likes to be involved at a granular level.

Some of the key responsibilities are:

Produce and issue level loaded manufacturing plan to meet OTIF targets considering material and resource availability.
Produce and maintain the long term capacity plan for the business and identify any potential risks to the plan.
Run the daily planning Operations meeting
Working with supply chain manager, ensure that Inventory and DOS targets are met
Working with logistics, agree a dispatch schedule to meet customer delivery dates
Champion communications between operations, purchasing and customer services to ensure accurate exchange of information
Report daily and monthly planning KPI's and identify projects to improve KPI numbers.

The Person:

Experience working within high volume manufacturing
Advanced level excel
Adept at managing excel planning tools without the backdrop of an ERP system
Dynamic approach, enthusiastic with a proactive approach
Able to work from own initiative, solutions focused
Confident and able to build relationships with key stakeholders internally including the Operations Managers, procurement and customer service.
