St Albans Permanent £38,000 - £50,000 per yearPartner level mentor and a tailored career progression plan
Based in St Albans this growing and successful accountancy firm provides excellent training and scope for development in areas of technical interest and a clear progression path on offer.
The key responsibilities for this Personal tax Senior will be:Building and managing client relationships for clients within your portfolio
Preparation of personal, partnership and trust tax returns using CCH
Collating sole trader and rental accounts in Excel
Collaborating with other teams to obtain tax return information
Reconciling tax liabilities and checking statements of account
Reviewing coding notices
Completing capital gains tax computations and 60-day returns
Assisting managers with more complex tax returns and ad-hoc advisory projects
(Support and training will be provided to build on these skills.)
The Successful candidate for this Personal Tax Senior role will be/have:
A sound experience of working in practice on a range of private client tax issues is essential.
The role involves a high level of direct contact with clients by email, telephone and face to face and
able to build client relationships and explain tax issues in
Hybrid working for most roles
Annual leave starting at 25 days
Pension with optional salary exchange scheme
Life insurance at four times basic annual salary
