Warehouse Supervisor

Ipswich (must drive due to location)

Monday-Friday 06:45-15:45

Full time, Permenant


I am currently recruiting for a growing, successful business who are looking to add to their warehouse team with a team member to help them expand and grow as a business.

This role will be suited to someone who is experience with working within a warehouseenvironment and wants to make a difference.

Due to the location of the warehouse, you must be able to drive to get there.


What is the day-to-day of the role:

  • To assist the warehouse manager in maintain the smooth and efficient operation.
  • To supervise the warehouse team.
  • To ensure that the daytoday tasks of all the warehouse operatives are being completed.
  • To maintain the housekeeping of the warehouse, and to ensure everything is complaint with health and safety.
  • To supervise large deliveries and take the lead on unloading with the forklift.
  • To make sure the barcode system is being used correctly at all times.

Required skills and experience:

You will need to have a previous forklift licence.

You will ideally have experience of using a barcode-based system and will be able to pick up new softwares with ease.

You will have had experience being a team leader, or a supervisor before and will know howto manage staff where needed.

You will be a good communicator and will be hands on and able to get the job done.
