Our client based in Crawley has an exciting opportunity to join their Operations Team, which is responsible for supplying technical support for both Microsoft and their own software products to clients.
Purpose of Role
This role is to provide the effective ongoing IT support of customer systems and their software products.
This will initially include coherently understanding and logging support requests made by users from various business sectors, and then working towardsbeing able to answer those requests.
It requires someone who is a good communicator with an excellent telephone manner, is self-motivated, confident, can work under pressure, and has a desire to work with computing solutions.
The position will primarily be office\home based, however as the successful applicant gains experience, they may be required to go onsite to client's premises for jobs.
- Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Client / Server)
- Microsoft Office Products
- Remote Desktop environments
- Helpdesk environments
To be considered for this role, ideally, you would have experience in a customer service environment, have a genuine interest in IT & Technology and be highly motivated and enthusiastic.
The Helpdesk is open from 8.00 until 18.30 Mon-Fri.
After training and allowing for flexible days to cover staff on annual leave, the successful applicant's standard shift would be 10.00 until 18.30.
