Description

A Brand New role has become available for a growing tech firm for a fully remote IT Support Engineer. This is a specialist MSP client who offer a range of cloud and networking support services to a range of healthcare clients based across the globe. They have a Datacentre based in Manchester which would require occasional visits for remedial work so any previous datacentre experience would be highly beneficial.

Technical Experience Required

Minimum 3-4 years of experience within a network consultancy / IT Services company environment with experience in implementation and support services.
In depth knowledge of Microsoft domain infrastructure; Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS.
Implementation, upgrade and migration of Windows Servers as well as troubleshooting support, and general administration.
Hands-on experience of virtualisation technologies VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V, Veeam; their setup and management.
Microsoft 365 setup, migrations.
PC roll-outs and upgrades.
Mobile device support.

You'll be coming in as part of a team of 5 IT Engineers, and the role could involve working on some shift patterns and some on-call. As the role will be offering technical support to Doctors and Consultants, its vital that all tickets are dealt with in a prompt and effective manner.

You must be eligible to work in the UK without any current or future requirement for sponsorship and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
