Finance Assistant

35hrs per week + £30k pa + hybrid working

12mths fixed term contract
A fantastic opportunity to gain experience within the Not For Profit and Research sectors.


An innovative charity is looking for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to provide maternity cover for an important position within the accounts team.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, typical duties will include:


  • Sales & purchase ledgers
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Payment runs
  • Financial reporting and analysis
  • Monthly management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • A background in a varied accounts position, and a thirst to learn more
  • A relevant accounting qualification, or active studying towards a qualification
  • Knowledge of Xero would be an added advantage
  • A willingness to commit to a 12mth contract
