    Description

    Vertex Associates are proud to be working with a facilities services business who are searching for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.


    They work to a hybrid model where you will be required to be in the Loughton office 2 day a week or more if you wish.

    a busy accounts inbox


    • invoices on our CAFM system (Simpro) and ensuring correct postings to their accounting system (Xero)
    • supplier and sub-contractor invoices, along side more junior members of staff
    • up to date, accurate purchase ledgers
    • sub-contractors are correctly verified with HMRC CIS and Reverse Charge VAT schemes
    • weekly supplier and subcontractor payment runs
    • telephone calls from customers and suppliers
    • end procedures - reconciliations
    accounting qualification (AAT,CIMA,ACCA) OR minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role


    • using Xero or similar accounting package
    • computer literacy
