Description

Flourish Education are recruiting for a supply SEN teaching assistant to work in a mainstream 2-form entry primary school in Telford rated 'Good' in their most recent Ofsted report. The school are looking to recruit a Supply Teaching assistant until the end of the academic year with the potential to go permanent. This would be on a 1:1 basis working with a child based in year 4 with challenging behaviour

This supply SEN Teaching assistant would start after Easter half term and would be working within a good staff team who are supportive and always work as a team to aim to be the best they can possibly be. Flourish education have a long-standing relationship with the school and has received regular positive feedback when a candidate has been in whether its long term or day-to-day cover.

The Supply SEN teaching assistant would need to have previous experience working with children with autism and be committed to a full-time long-term position until the end of the academic year.

To apply for this Supply SEN Teaching assistant role you will need the following:

Qualified Teaching Assistant level 2 or 3 or qualification.
Experience working with Sen
Commitment to a long-term post
DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
Minimum of 2 good references is required.
Experience working with SEN needs

Responsibilities for the Supply SEN Teaching assistant role:

To support the class teacher within everyday activities
To support the children within the class
To work closely with the class teacher
Of the safety of the children
To report back to class teacher on progress of the child
