Procurement specialistProcurement Manager
Accountability for the strategic development, negotiation, delivery and ongoing management of key third party goods and services.
Lead negotiator for services and technical procurement agreements
Approximate Department spend - £250M inc Capital Projects, Normal Maintenance & TAR's
Contract Relationship manager for Key suppliers to the Hull Site
Deputise for Procurement Manager when necessary.
Commercial Management of key site agreements.
Network with the global procurement organisation to maximise group leverage possibilities.
Provide expert advice on procurement related risks, including in depth market knowledge both commercial and technical to all procurement customers.
Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure best commercial terms to the business.Identify and recommend new suppliers to the business that can offer a commercial or technical advantage to the business to mitigate project or asset schedule risk.

Previous procurement or quantified surveyor (10+ Years) experience in a large complex manufacturing environment, dealing with contract negotiation and management desirable.
Strong IT skills including excel, word, SAP & data base analysis would be advantageous.Sound understanding of company policies, site safety standards and legislation is an advantage.
Experience in supporting capital project activities.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to build relevant relationships and networks.
Self-starter working effectively in ad hoc multi-disciplinary teams, providing the team direction and focus to achieve overall objectives.
Strong Organisational skills and the ability to react quickly and work to tight deadlines.
Ability to drive performance and positively influence other stakeholders outside of the line on order to achieve positive results.
Performance indicators:
Ensure goods and services are delivered /performed as per the specification in a Tinley manner, withing quality requirements and cost.
Delivery of financial cost avoidance and sustainable cost savings as per the business plan.Identification of supply risks and effective mitigation to ensure continuity of supply to the business.
