This is a medium-sized not-for-profit organisation.

With a focus on humanitarian aid, the company operates both domestically and internationally, employing a diverse range of professionals who are committed to making a positive impact on the world.


The key responsibilities of a Finance Assistant
will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Linking customer finance accounts
  • Liaising with office within USA
  • Inputting new data onto finance system
  • Ensure data entered is accurate on all records
  • Uploading Invoices (Payables)
  • Screenings (Payables)
  • Demonstrate excellence use on Microsoft Excel
  • Processing confidential data
  • Analysing and interpreting data
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Ad hoc duties

The Successful Applicant:


A successful Finance Assistant should have:

  • Not for Profit and Charities background is desirable
  • Able to work independently
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to change and flexibility
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office use, including Excel
  • Background with data entry
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to travel to Cheadle
  • Experience of using Saleforce is desirable
