Teacher of English & Drama (Dual Qualified), Winchburgh Academy, 35 hours per week, Permanent, Closing Date 13th May

Winchburgh Academy is a new state-of-the-art secondary school which opened in August , designed to ensure twenty first century learning, immersed in creativity and digital technologies. The school also has sports facilities of the highest standard and includes sports halls, a 25m swimming pool and artificial grass outdoor pitches.
Initially, the school opened with a S1 cohort and the roll is anticipated to rise year on year to reach its -pupil initial capacity by . The school roll is anticipated to be students (S1-S3) in August . A future expansion strategy has been considered beyond this, potentially increasing the school roll up to a maximum capacity of 1, pupils. In August the school will have approximately 20 teaching staff.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment and the cost will be met by the candidate.
The fee for a Full PVG Scheme Membership is £59 or Existing Member is £18.
