Job Purpose Statement


We are looking for a
Course Co-Ordinator, who will be able to support and co-ordinate all internal and external training.

Ensuring those attending know where and when, linking in with suppliers and external training providers to ensure scope and program is mapped out.

Working with HRBP's on training requirements as well as the wider business.

This position will be based working at our Head Office Branch in Colney Heath - postcode AL4 0PG.

Working Hours will be 8.00am pm (40 Hours a Week)


This is a Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of a permanent position.**
Key Accountabilities

  • To arrange and coordinate training that is required. This includes finding suitable locations to hold training, through to ensuring invites are sent to delegates and that follow up analysis is carried out.
  • Liaise with external suppliers, in helping them arrange for our employees to be trained on their products.
  • Take ownership and keep up to date the training calendar for the business.
  • Ensure all records are kept up to date with training that has been completed.
  • Work with other key stakeholders such as H&S and Group Transport to merge and ensure all records are held in a central location.
  • Assist with and maintain the New Learning Management System that in currently being tendered for.
  • Support line managers in ensuring their employees are trained and are on target for completion of any courses which have been identified for them.
  • Assist and help develop day 6 months induction program, mainly focusing on the training requirements, this includes working with branches to understand the basic requirements.
  • Act as a central point of contact for all training requirements and needs.
  • Assist and support HR Advisors and HRBP's as required.
  • Carry out any additional duties as required by the business.

Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications:


  • Proven working experience within a HR department or a Training Department.
  • Knowledge of training needs analysis, and other interventions that are used in Learning & Development.
  • Knowledge of working with an LMS system.
  • Experience of working in a busy HR department.
