Applicants are invited for the role of Fixed Term Consultant in Emergency Medicine at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester for a period of 12 months pending recruitment to the substantive post.

Applications are welcomes from those with sub-speciality interest such as paediatric EM or dual EM / ICM training.


Main duties revolve around providing excellent clinical care to patients presenting to our department, including clinical leadership and education of multidisciplinary team members.

As detailed in the Job Description, a variety of different working patterns can be offered to suit individual circumstances. There is a 1:5 weekend commitment and 1:10 on-call commitment.

Rostering is via a gold standard semi self-rostered annualised system, allowing the perfect balance of work and life, whilst living in a beautiful part of Sussex.
