We are looking for a highly motivational and inspirational lecturer to join our Maths and English team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of County Durham's leading Further Education providers to help learners on their journey to develop their skills in Maths.
There are opportunities for an enthusiastic lecturer to deliver our GCSE Maths, Functional Skills and unitised maths qualifications. We are looking for someone who can help our learners make positive progress on their learning journey in maths. The post will involve delivering engaging lessons to a diverse group of learners across our three sites within County Durham. If you would love to pass on your passion for maths and help people develop essential maths skills, then East Durham College is the college for you.
We welcome applications from experienced teachers and those who are looking to develop their teaching practice as they start their teaching careers. As a supportive employer, from day one you'll be part of an exceptional team who will help you develop your skills in classroom management. You may be required to teach maths across our three engaging and varied campuses, you will be paid mileage for any travel between the sites during the teaching day and we are open to discussing which campus would work best for you depending on the requirements of the timetable.
You will be involved in delivery of different maths qualifications to a variety of learners which may include:
