    Could you imagine delivering an enriching activities programme for the elderly in the heart of your community?

    A vacancy has arisen for an Events Coordinator to organise and deliver a programme of activities which will enrich the lives of our residents in Brooklands Care Home, Magherafelt.

    Hours – 30 hours per week

    Salary – 22k per annum

    The role:

    ⁃ Co-ordinate and deliver an innovative programme of social activities for our residents throughout the year

    ⁃ Activities should be person centred, catering to a range of individual preferences across abroad spectrum of activities including but not limited to; beauty, relaxation, arts & crafts, music and theatre.

    ⁃ Responsible for ensuring that all associated documentation is completed and evidenced in line with our standards.

    ⁃ Fundraising will be required and therefore previous experience will be an advantage.

    ⁃ Candidates must be enthusiastic, motivated and have the skills necessary to ensure a varied programme of both group & one to one activities are provided to our residents.

    About The Role

    What we need:

    We need someone will be able to provide social activities to our residents in either a group situation or on a one to one basis. Previous experience of delivery activities within a care home setting is desirable but not essential.
