Job Introduction:
Colas Warrington Products Division are recruiting a Distribution Administrator to provide administration support to the Fleet Controller in relation to the management of the commercial fleet.
Main Responsibility:
Provide administration support to the Distribution Controller in relation to information on the management of the drivers (e.g. Tachographs)
Monitor the information provided through Masternaut highlight any poor performance against set targets and provide agreed reports to the Associate Director.
Provide administration support to the Fleet Controller in relation to FORS and to the distribution controller in relation to drivers.
Ensure compliance with all Colas systems/processes related to Distribution, assist to ensure that commercial vehicles are available as required for all legal checks.
Ensure all maintenance/repair costs in relation to the commercial fleet are effectively recorded and the information available to the Finance Department as required.
Ensure monthly deadlines are met in relation to the monthly accounts, supplier invoices are properly checked, and any queries are resolved in a timely fashion.
Ensure safe systems of work are maintained.
Process national distribution statistics for management as required.
Maintain weekly contact with drivers in relation to clarifying information from the reports generated by Masternaut, assist with ensuring the training records for all drivers are always up to date.
- Ideally experienced in aspects of Distribution administration
- IT Literate
- Excellent communication skills
- Maths and English GCSE at Grade C or equivalent
- Time Management and strong organisational skills
- Numerate
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Attention to detail
- Ability to motivate staff
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
