- Performs entry to mid-level break-fix & preventative maintenance, such as adjusting functional parts, repairing defective components, and reconditioning machine tools.
- Identifies necessary parts, supplies, and repair items.
- Offers support to team members and assists in departmental tasks as required.
- Demonstrates knowledge of Maintenance Industry Standards and ensures compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Participates in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities to enhance processes, achieve results, and save costs.
- May operate simple machining operations and conduct basic welding tasks.
- Updates records and reviews CMMS history for accurate documentation.
- Conducts basic troubleshooting of control systems circuitry.
- Engages in technical self-study programs for ongoing career development.
- Adheres to all safety policies, regulations, and guidelines while maintaining situational awareness and promoting a safe work environment.
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
- Associates degree with a Technical focus or 18 months of related experience in the industry.
- Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems and proficiency in repairs.
- Ability to use basic hand tools effectively.
