RM Recruit Ltd is working with a fantastic membership body who are on the lookout for a Head of Finance on a permanent basis.

This role is based in the Warwickshire area, however, the majority of this role is working from home.


Main duties include:

  • To lead the finance team with the aim of supporting the effective delivery of the organisation's corporate plan in relation to financial sustainability.
  • To support the development and delivery of the Finance strategy
  • To lead the Finance function in delivering high quality management reports and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
  • To implement, review and develop policies, procedures and systems to ensure a consistently highlevel Finance service is delivered in line with best practice and legislation.
  • To lead the development of financial controls and processes in accordance with the SoRP and recognised accounting standards.
  • To be the key contact for all taxation compliance matters.
  • To ensure staff are provided with uptodate advice in relation to Finance best practice, ensuring compliance with finance regulations.
  • To lead the production of the annual budget and periodic forecasts, ensuring production timetables are met.
  • To be a key contact on the external audit and internal audit process ensuring the planning, preparation and delivery of the requirements and statutory reports to enable the production of the year end financial statements on a timely basis.
  • To lead the Finance team in the preparation of accurate, management accounts on a monthly basis, with key insights and narrative ensuring they are completed in line with the agreed timetable and with recognised accounting standards.
  • To lead the preparation of a rolling 12 month cash flow forecast.
  • To keep abreast of current IT developments that will enhance processes and systems.
  • To encourage, develop and motivate staff and promote close and cooperative working between the team and other departments.

Salary:
£54,000.00-£63,000.00 per year
