The Governors of Hutton Church of England Grammar School are seeking to appoint a new Subject Leader for PSHE. The successful applicant will have the skills, knowledge and motivation to lead and develop the PSHE curriculum at Key Stages 3-5 to ensure it supports the personal development of all our pupils and students.

PSHE is taught by a variety of subject staff, including those with pastoral responsibilities and the successful applicant will be responsible for providing support and training to these individuals to enable the curriculum to be delivered with confidence and consistency.

The successful candidate will also play a leading role in overseeing the school's provision for careers and work experience.

This is a key role within our middle leadership team in driving our school forward. We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking candidate with the following qualities to lead our passionate, hard-working team:

A passion for excellence in the teaching of PSHE
The ability to teach PSHE and either PE, Design Technology (Resistant Materials) or a Humanities subject
The ability to maintain and raise standards of student attainment and achievement and to monitor and support pupil and student progress
The ability to effectively lead, manage and motivate staff within the team and the capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues
Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
