    Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Audit Senior to join their Southampton team.

    Role Overview:

    As an Audit Senior, you will play a pivotal role in the audit process, providing high-quality services to a portfolio of clients.

    Your responsibilities will encompass planning and executing audit assignments, leading audit teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Lead and manage audit engagements, overseeing the entire audit process from planning to completion.
    Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business operations and financial objectives.
    Coordinate and mentor audit teams, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
    Review and analyse financial statements, identifying areas for improvement and compliance with accounting standards.
    Stay updated on changes in audit regulations, accounting principles, and industry best practices.
    Participate in business development efforts, identifying opportunities for growth and new client acquisition.
    ACA or ACCA qualification.
    Substantial audit experience (X+ years) within a reputable accountancy firm.
    Strong knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
    Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor, motivate, and guide junior team members.
    Proficiency in auditing software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
    Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
