    Description

    Hours : There is the option for this to be a full or part time post. In addition, although the post is term time only (39 weeks a year), there is also the option to work within the school holidays.

    Travel expenses will be paid.

    Maritime has an exciting opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist.

    We are looking for a vibrant and energetic individual who wants to make a difference to the lives of the pupils attending Maritime schools. We are looking for someone who is confident, resilient, and approachable and a good communicator as they will be required to work with pupils, staff, parents/carers and outside agencies.

    The successful candidate will work across 4 mainstream primary schools (Timbercroft, Millennium, Ebbsfleet Green and Greenacres) within the Trust and will be responsible for managing their own caseload. They will be responsible for joint work with teaching staff, the upskilling and training of support staff, implementing classroom based interventions and support strategies, as well as assessment, diagnosis and intervention for individual children.

    Regular supervision will be provided by our highly experienced Lead Speech and Language Therapist and in addition there will be CDP opportunities.
