Job Scope:

You will oversee the testing of delivered solutions in an Agile working environment, working alongside key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of all projects.

You will be involved with preparation, development and delivery of test strategies, plans, scenarios, and test cases while also identifying appropriate tools and
techniques. You will also provide detailed test reports and summary evaluation.

Providing support, leadership and management to our small team of testers, you'll also use your expertise and experience to help us continually improve our processes and working practices, actively enabling the department to become as reliable, efficient and effective as it can be.

There are flexible working options available for this role, including office and remote working

Responsibilities and Duties

Manage & lead small test team
Experience define and implement test strategy and approach
Design both manual and automated tests to validate performance
Analyse test results and Identifying quality issues
Ensure testing framework, standards and best practices are met
Recording and tracking all defects and test progress
Detail tests performed and outcomes in test reports
Report bugs and errors to development teams and help troubleshoot issues
Managing the final quality on production release
Conduct postrelease/postimplementation testing
Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends for upgrading existing practices and processes

Skills & Education

At least 3 years' experience of handson QA testing (manual & automation)
Experience of test tools and frameworks (e.g. JUnit, BrowserStack, Postman)
Experience of API testing
Strong background in Agile and DevOps ways of working
Experience of leading small teams whilst working on QA projects desirable
Experience in project management and QA methodology
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Excellent organisational & communication skills
Analytical mind and problemsolving aptitude
Have a strong work ethic and accountability, with an eagerness to learn
BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant accreditation
