A global top-tier law firm, mentioned in Legal 500, with focus on innovations, people and businesses, is looking for an
Associate 2-4y+ PQE, to work on a range of disputes across the wider group.

Main areas of focus are financial and regulatory disputes and investigations, high value professional negligence, civil fraud, product liability, international arbitration, contentious insolvency and corporate claims involving directors, shareholders and investors.

Responsibilities:

Providing legal advice to a variety of stakeholders on all aspects of restructuring and insolvency including administrations, liquidations, receiverships, company voluntary arrangements (CVAs), restructuring plans / schemes of emergent, individual voluntary arrangements (IVAs), bankruptcy, windingup procedures etc.
Drafting, reviewing, negotiating legal documentation related to restructuring & insolvency matters (including security enforcements, and business sales).

Requirements:

- non-contentious restructuring skill-set (with a background in financing structures as well as corporate transactions)
- some exposure to contentious matters or an interest in developing their contentious skills.

Comprehensive understanding of restructuring and insolvency law and practice.
Knowledge of typical financing structures and security enforcement mechanisms.
Experience in distressed business sales and mechanisms involved in distressed sale transactions in an insolvency context.
Awareness of crossborder insolvency issues, international business law, and sectorspecific regulations.
