- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, testing, and servicing of fire alarm systems, security cameras, access control systems, and other related equipment.
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests to diagnose and resolve technical issues, including system failures, false alarms, and malfunctions.
- Perform repairs, adjustments, and replacements of faulty components to restore system functionality and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Install, program, and configure new fire and security systems, including control panels, detectors, sensors, cameras, and access control devices.
- Provide technical support and training to clients, building owners, and end-users on the operation and maintenance of fire and security systems.
- Maintain accurate service records, including work orders, service reports, and equipment documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, sales representatives, and other team members to coordinate service activities and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in fire and security systems.
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a Field Service Engineer or Technician in the fire and security industry.
- Strong technical skills in fire alarm systems, security cameras, access control systems, and related equipment.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting tools, diagnostic equipment, and software used in the fire and security industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
