Are you a confident education administrator with experience in assessments? Do you enjoy managing detailed processes in a dynamic academic environment? If so ,we have an opportunity for you to join our client, a top London University as an Assessments Officer.

This is a temporary, full-time position that will run for 2 months. The role offers a hybrid working structure with 3 days on campus and 2 days at home.


In the role, you will be the crucial link between students, academic staff, and the seamless delivery of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

You will oversee the assessment processes, ensure the functioning of exam boards, and set internal exam deadlines. You will be actively contributing to the continuous development and enhancement of assessment processes. You will play a key role in ensuring the programmes exam procedures, processes and record keeping are accurate. The role extends to providing accurate and timely advice to staff and students. As well as supporting other teams and contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the academic services.


Assessment Officer Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for assessment arrangements in postgraduate and undergraduate programmes.
  • Plan and drive assessment processes.
  • Assist with exam procedures.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all assessmentrelated matters.
  • Address queries from academics and students.
  • Act as secretary to committee meetings, sending out agendas, taking minutes, and coordinating action points.

Assessment Officer Key Skills:


  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Salary:
From £18.00 per hour
