Due to their ongoing success, they are expanding their Accountancy team.Key responsibilities:
- Preparing Statutory Accounts: creating Statutory Accounts from various sources, including manual records, spreadsheets, or data imported from accounting software
- Balancing Control Accounts: Utilizing the Mercia framework, you will balance control accounts and prepare accounts files
- Handling Client Accounting Software: You'll work with a variety of accounting software packages (including IRIS, SAGE, XERO, and Quickbooks)
- Tax Computations: Prepare tax computations for sole traders and partnerships, as well as Corporation Tax returns for Ltd Companies
- Client Communication: Correspond with clients and managers to complete assignments
- Bookkeeping: Complete bookkeeping work on behalf of clients
- VAT Returns: Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely filing with HMRC
- Management Accounts: Produce management accounts for review by managers and directors
- Completed your AAT L4 or have qualified by experience through working in an Accountancy Practice
- Good communication and organisational skills
