Description
I am working on a Financial Accountant post based in Nottingham for a Public Sector Organisation. This is a role suitable for a strong technical Accountant, looking more exposure to different areas of Financial Accounting.The Financial Accountant will report directly to the Head of Financial Accounting.
Duties of the Financial Accountant include:
Enhancing the day to day activities of the Financial Accounting department including the development of processes for producing the monthly and quarterly financial returns
Assist the Head of Finance with internal and external audit reports
Lead on the Charitable Fund Accounting
Support on internal financial controls
Support on the production of monthly financial accounting
Manage cash and agreement of balances on the annual accounts
Be an ACCA/CIMA/ACA studier and be towards the end of their qualification
Have experience and full knowledge of Financial Accounting
Have demonstrated a commitment to professional development
Have a solid working knowledge of International and UK Financial Reporting Standards
Have experience with Capital Accounting
Be able to commute into the office full time Job Offer
