Time Appointments are working on behalf of a global insurance company, who are looking for a knowledgeable, motivated, and experienced individual to join their team.

This position is based in the Ipswich office and you will be providing support to producers,brokers and technical support colleagues.

Key Duties:

Compile templates to send to global offices to provide information and check the information received back is accurate
Assess market security information on carriers, checking compliance and financial positions
Produce data, statistics, and information packs in support of the placement of a client's reinsurance programme
Liaise with Compliance / Sanctions Team on sanctions checks where touch points exist
Effectively connect with various stakeholders, both internal and external
Support creation of slips / endorsements
Checking files to ensure all information is present and accurate
Ensure contract records are accurately maintained within transactional broking system
Generate and issue evidence of cover, debit notes and closing instructions
Review and interrogate reinsurance contracts to facilitate billing within agreed timescales
Manage and resolve queries from clients and reinsurers
Produce contractual documentation to a high level and within timescales
Maintain files in an orderly manner electronically, ensuring these are within CEM guidelines

Skills & Requirements

Relevant Insurance experience
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Attention to detail
Ability to coordinate and prioritise workloads with good time management skills
Intermediate IT skills (Microsoft Office suite)
Experience of use and management of broking systems appropriate to own office (desirable)
Experience in delivering applicable compliance standards with client service teams
Knowledge of global reinsurance markets
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Eligible to work in the UK
