Description
Time Appointments are working on behalf of a global insurance company, who are looking for a knowledgeable, motivated, and experienced individual to join their team.
This position is based in the Ipswich office and you will be providing support to producers,brokers and technical support colleagues.
Key Duties:
- Compile templates to send to global offices to provide information and check the information received back is accurate
- Assess market security information on carriers, checking compliance and financial positions
- Produce data, statistics, and information packs in support of the placement of a client's reinsurance programme
- Liaise with Compliance / Sanctions Team on sanctions checks where touch points exist
- Effectively connect with various stakeholders, both internal and external
- Support creation of slips / endorsements
- Checking files to ensure all information is present and accurate
- Ensure contract records are accurately maintained within transactional broking system
- Generate and issue evidence of cover, debit notes and closing instructions
- Review and interrogate reinsurance contracts to facilitate billing within agreed timescales
- Manage and resolve queries from clients and reinsurers
- Produce contractual documentation to a high level and within timescales
- Maintain files in an orderly manner electronically, ensuring these are within CEM guidelines
Skills & Requirements
- Relevant Insurance experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate and prioritise workloads with good time management skills
- Intermediate IT skills (Microsoft Office suite)
- Experience of use and management of broking systems appropriate to own office (desirable)
- Experience in delivering applicable compliance standards with client service teams
- Knowledge of global reinsurance markets
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Eligible to work in the UK
