Personal Tax senior required to join the talented tax team of this respected firm in Edinburgh.

The team are responsible for providing high-quality private client tax compliance and planning services to a range of high-net-worth individuals and trustees.

This firm pride themselves on their excellent reputation and impressive client list - as well as a commitment to training and supporting their colleagues to provide a dedicated and passionate client service.

They currently work on a hybrid basis around business needs, client meetings, and individual preferences throughout the year.

Reporting to management, you will manage a portfolio of private clients and trusts, and manage all compliance matters including collating all relevant information, preparing returns, calculating tax liabilities, and subsequent advisory.

You will be a key point of contact for your clients, maintaining regular communication with them in order to obtain information and deal with relevant queries.

You will also have the opportunity to meet with your existing clients, as well as involvement with meeting potential new clients as well.

You will also work with the team and wider firm to support with more complex tax matters and tax planning projects.

As such you will be an excellent team player with a proactive approach to your work. CTA study support can be offered to those wishing to pursue further qualification.

You will have prior experience working in personal (or mixed-tax), gained within a CA or legal practice. ATT qualification would be beneficial, but not essential.

You will be a confident communicator with a passion for building and nurturing strong interpersonal relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Experience of Microsoft Office packages essential, experience of CCH would be advantageous. Knowledge or experience of executry taxation beneficial.
