- Lead team in safe procedural practices and efficient list management.
- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate Endoscopy patient care effectively.
- Foster teamwork within the hospital environment and promote cohesion in team objectives.
- Participate across departments to support team unity and achievement of goals.
- Adhere to data collection and reporting policies, addressing evolving healthcare needs.
- Optimize clinical resources, monitor patient flow, and initiate improvements.
- Drive service development and implementation of improvements.
- Engage in staff selection, ensuring efficient resource allocation and ethical practices.
- Ensure health, safety, and security standards, acting on reported concerns.
- Comply with policies, participate in guideline development, and engage in audits.
- Monitor and enhance care standards, benchmarking, and promoting best practices.
- Lead service improvements within the department, acting promptly on incidents.
- Establish and maintain effective emergency plans and staff readiness.
- Champion equality, diversity, and rights, promoting staff education and development.
- Oversee equipment checks and maintenance, ensuring immediate fault reporting.
- Uphold cross-infection prevention measures, maintaining a clean working environment.

- Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 12 months post-registration experience in an acute setting
- At least 6 months of experience in the Endoscopy setting
- Awareness of professional responsibilities
