Description

Working as the strategic partner for the Faculty of Engineering, Computing & the Environment, the role holder will facilitate and implement a market-oriented approach to delivering faculty student recruitment objectives, ensuring that the required marketing and recruitment functions within the faculty works within the overall University framework.


Strong communication skills are vital as you will be required to build internal relationships as you act as the liaison between the faculty and the wider student recruitment, marketing and admissions functions, with the key objective of recruiting to target, the post will focus on delivering specific identified faculty needs and developing marketing strategies for the faculty's target audiences.


The post holder will be responsible for researching, planning, implementing and managing a range of strategic marketing activities within the overarching Student Recruitment Strategy in coordination with a faculty and developing individual faculty marketing and recruitment plans to deliver on agreed targets.


The Person:


We are looking for someone who is proficient in analysing statistics, ensuring all courses are publicised according to best practice and will plan, monitor, and promote major events such as University-wide Open Days and Applicant Days for prospective students.


The ability to work strategically as well as focusing on the operational elements of the role, will allow the post holder to support stakeholders across the faculty, whilst managing their expectations when required.

Project management and organisational skills will help the post holder manage their busy workload, and ensure input from stakeholders in a timely manner.

Recruitment and Admissions at Kingston University forms a large department within the Student Directorate encompassing recruitment and admissions across home, EU and overseas students.

It provides a strategic, operational and advisory service for the University on all aspects of recruitment and admissions.

This includes course marketing, student recruitment, student admissions, website management and development, design & print, copywriting, editing as well as international development, visa and immigration advice, events and graduation services.

This is a full time, fixed term position for up to 12 months with a starting salary of £41,131 per annum.
