_Borthwick Heating_ is a company established in 2008, operating across the UK.

We work through the ECO4 scheme, which focuses on reducing carbon emissions, and we are constantly expanding, with a workforce of over 150 staff, 70+ vans and completing thousands of installs yearly.

We are currently looking for our next generation of heating engineers, for those who have a plumbing background and are looking to get into the industry.

We want to provide full training so that after a couple of years training, you can be a heating engineer, going out and completing your own installs Out of area travel and stay throughout the working week will be required for this role, along with a full UK driving license.

Responsibilities:

Assist plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, specifically Air Source Heat Pumps:

Carry tools and materials to job sites:

Prepare job sites by setting up equipment and tools:

Cut, measure, and assemble pipes and fittings:

Remove and replace old plumbing fixtures:

Keep work areas clean and tidy:

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Plumbers Mate is preferred but not required:

Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools:

Good communication skills:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team:

Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures:

Willingness to learn and expand knowledge of the plumbing trade

Salary:
£23,000-£26,000, with a bonus package up to £40,000/annum
